विश्वामित्र उवाच । तस्य तं निश्चयं ज्ञात्वा शस्त्रमादाय निर्मलम् । चकर्ताथ भुजौ तस्य भ्राता भ्रातुश्च निर्घृणः । सोपि च्छिन्नकरो विप्रो व्यथयापि समन्वितः
viśvāmitra uvāca | tasya taṃ niścayaṃ jñātvā śastramādāya nirmalam | cakartātha bhujau tasya bhrātā bhrātuśca nirghṛṇaḥ | sopi cchinnakaro vipro vyathayāpi samanvitaḥ
វិស្វាមិត្រ បានពោលថា៖ ដោយដឹងពីការតាំងចិត្តដ៏រឹងមាំរបស់គាត់ បងប្រុសរបស់គាត់ ដែលគ្មានក្តីមេត្តាសូម្បីតែចំពោះប្អូនប្រុសបង្កើតរបស់ខ្លួន បានយកអាវុធដ៏មុតថ្លា ហើយកាត់ដៃទាំងពីររបស់គាត់។ ព្រាហ្មណ៍នោះ ទោះបីដៃត្រូវបានកាត់ផ្តាច់ ក៏ពោរពេញទៅដោយការឈឺចាប់។
