समः शत्रौ च मित्रे च समलोष्टाश्मकांचनः । समो मानापमानेषु न प्रेतो जायते नरः
samaḥ śatrau ca mitre ca samaloṣṭāśmakāṃcanaḥ | samo mānāpamāneṣu na preto jāyate naraḥ
បុរសណាដែលមានចិត្តស្មើគ្នាចំពោះសត្រូវ និងមិត្ត ដូចគ្នា មើលដុំដី ថ្ម និងមាសស្មើគ្នា ហើយស្មើគ្នាទាំងក្នុងកិត្តិយស និងអពកិត្តិយស—បុរសនោះមិនកើតជាព្រេតឡើយ។
