तथा कृता मयैषाद्य व्यवस्था सर्वदेहिनाम् । अष्टमाद्वत्सरादूर्ध्यं कर्मणा गर्हितेन च । प्रग्रहीष्यति वै जंतुः पुरुषो योषिदेव वा
tathā kṛtā mayaiṣādya vyavasthā sarvadehinām | aṣṭamādvatsarādūrdhyaṃ karmaṇā garhitena ca | pragrahīṣyati vai jaṃtuḥ puruṣo yoṣideva vā
«ហើយថ្ងៃនេះ ខ្ញុំបានកំណត់ច្បាប់នេះសម្រាប់សត្វមានកាយទាំងអស់៖ ចាប់ពីលើសឆ្នាំទីប្រាំបីទៅ សត្វណាមួយ—ប្រុសឬស្រី—ត្រូវទទួលខុសត្រូវចំពោះអំពើដែលគួរត្រូវទោស និងត្រូវបានគេបន្ទោស។»
