देवा ऊचुः । मदनद्वं समर्थोसि अस्माञ्जेतुं सदैव हि । महेशं प्रति गच्छाशु सुरकार्यार्थसिद्धये । पार्वत्या सहितं शंभुं कुरुष्वाद्य महामते
devā ūcuḥ | madanadvaṃ samarthosi asmāñjetuṃ sadaiva hi | maheśaṃ prati gacchāśu surakāryārthasiddhaye | pārvatyā sahitaṃ śaṃbhuṃ kuruṣvādya mahāmate
ព្រះទេវតាទាំងឡាយបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ឱ មទនៈ អ្នកអាចឈ្នះសូម្បីតែយើងបានជានិច្ច។ ចូរទៅឆាប់ទៅកាន់ព្រះមហេស (មហាទេវ) ដើម្បីសម្រេចកិច្ចការរបស់ទេវតា។ ឱ អ្នកមានចិត្តធំ ចូរធ្វើឲ្យព្រះសម្ភុ—ជាមួយព្រះបារវតី—ស្ថិតក្រោមឥទ្ធិពលរបស់អ្នកនៅថ្ងៃនេះ»។
