कूर्म उवाच । शांडिल्य इति विख्यातः पुराहमभवं द्विजः । बालभावे मया भूप क्रीडमानेन निर्मितम्
kūrma uvāca | śāṃḍilya iti vikhyātaḥ purāhamabhavaṃ dvijaḥ | bālabhāve mayā bhūpa krīḍamānena nirmitam
កូរមៈបាននិយាយ៖ កាលពីមុន ខ្ញុំជាព្រហ្មណ៍ទ្វិជៈ មានឈ្មោះល្បីថា «សាណ្ឌិល្យៈ»។ ព្រះរាជាអើយ នៅវ័យកុមារ ខណៈខ្ញុំលេងសប្បាយ ខ្ញុំបានបង្កើតវត្ថុមួយដោយដៃខ្លួនឯង។
