उग्रश्रवा उवाच । श्रृणुध्वचत्यद्भुतपुण्यसत्कथं कुमारनाथस्य महाप्रभावम् । द्वैपायनो यन्मम चाह पूर्वं हर्षाबुरोमोद्गमचर्चितांगः
ugraśravā uvāca | śrṛṇudhvacatyadbhutapuṇyasatkathaṃ kumāranāthasya mahāprabhāvam | dvaipāyano yanmama cāha pūrvaṃ harṣāburomodgamacarcitāṃgaḥ
ឧគ្រស្រវា (សូត) បាននិយាយថា៖ «ចូរស្តាប់រឿងព្រេងបរិសុទ្ធ អស្ចារ្យ និងល្អប្រសើរនេះ អំពីមហាឥទ្ធិពលរបស់កុមារនាថ។ កាលមុន ទ្វៃបាយនៈ (វ្យាស) បានប្រាប់វាដល់ខ្ញុំ ហើយរាងកាយខ្ញុំក៏រីករាយរន្ធត់ដោយសេចក្តីអំណរ»។
