iti śrīskāṃde mahāpurāṇa ekāśīti sāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ catutheṃ kāśīkhaṃḍa uttarārdhe gaṃgeśvaramahimākhyānaṃ nāmaikanavatitamo'dhyāyaḥ

ដូច្នេះ ក្នុងស្កន្ទមហាបុរាណដ៏គួរគោរព—នៅក្នុងឯកាសីតិសាហស្រីសំហិតា ក្នុងផ្នែកទីបួន ក្នុងឧត្តរាដ៌ហៈនៃកាសីខណ្ឌ—បានបញ្ចប់ជំពូកដែលមាននាម «រឿងរ៉ាវអំពីមហិមារបស់គង្គេស្វរ» ជាអធ្យាយទី៩១។
