स्कंद उवाच । देवदेवेन विंध्यारे केदार महिमा महान् । इत्याख्यायि पुरांबायै मया तेपि निरूपितः
skaṃda uvāca | devadevena viṃdhyāre kedāra mahimā mahān | ityākhyāyi purāṃbāyai mayā tepi nirūpitaḥ
ស្កន្ទៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ ដូច្នេះហើយ មហិមាដ៏អស្ចារ្យនៃ «កេដារ» ក្នុងតំបន់វិន្ធ្យា ព្រះទេវទេវបានប្រាប់ដល់ព្រះមាតា បារវតី កាលពីមុន; រឿងនោះដែរ ខ្ញុំក៏បានរៀបរាប់ជូនអ្នកផង។
