Skanda
Tirtha: Jyeṣṭhasthāna
Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahāmune (great sage)
Scene: Skanda as narrator addressing a great sage in an āśrama-like setting, gesturing toward the sacred geography of Kāśī; the moment is the formal opening of a sin-destroying tale.
Hearing sacred history (māhātmya-kathā) of Kāśī is itself a purifier and a dharmic practice.
Jyeṣṭhasthāna in Kāśī, introduced as the setting for a sin-destroying episode.
Śravaṇa (devout listening) is implied as meritorious, described as āgha-vināśana (sin-destroying).
