विषयेष्वति संरागो मानसो मल उच्यते । तेष्वेव हि विरागो स्य नैर्मल्यं समुदाहृतम्
viṣayeṣvati saṃrāgo mānaso mala ucyate | teṣveva hi virāgo sya nairmalyaṃ samudāhṛtam
ការចងចិត្តស្រឡាញ់ខ្លាំងលើវត្ថុអារម្មណ៍ ត្រូវហៅថា មលិនៃចិត្ត; ការមិនជាប់ចិត្ត (វិរាគ) ចំពោះវត្ថុទាំងនោះវិញ ត្រូវប្រកាសថា ជាភាពបរិសុទ្ធ។
