व्यास उवाच । सूर्य आत्मास्य जगतस्तस्थुषस्तमसोरिपुः । उदियायोदयगिरौ शुचिप्रसृमरैः करैः
vyāsa uvāca | sūrya ātmāsya jagatastasthuṣastamasoripuḥ | udiyāyodayagirau śuciprasṛmaraiḥ karaiḥ
ព្រះវ្យាសបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ ព្រះអាទិត្យ—ជាព្រលឹងជីវិតនៃលោកនេះ ជាអាត្មានៃសត្វចល និងអចល ហើយជាសត្រូវនៃភាពងងឹត—បានរះលើភ្នំទិសកើត បញ្ចេញកាំរស្មីបរិសុទ្ធរបស់ព្រះអង្គ។
