Nārada
Listener: Frame-audience (sages)
Scene: Nārada, seated, speaks in blessing tone; Vaiśvānara listens with humility; the child Gṛhapati stands nearby, attentive, embodying obedience and purity.
Obedience to parents, grounded in purity and disciplined vows, is praised as a sign of spiritual maturity.
The Kāśīkhaṇḍa (Kāśī) context frames the teaching, though this verse is ethical instruction rather than tīrtha-description.
No specific rite; it commends the ‘vrata’ of obedience and service within the household.
