Brahmā
Listener: suta (son)
Scene: A yajña-śālā at the rite’s end: sacred fire low and steady, ṛtviks seated with darbha and ladles; the patron presents dakṣiṇā—gold, cows, cloth—while Brahmā narrates the dharmic propriety.
Sacrifice is completed by rightful dakṣiṇā; honoring officiants sustains the continuity of sacred rites and learning.
Dharmāraṇya is upheld as a ritual-anchored sacred region where yajña and mahādāna are properly concluded.
Giving dakṣiṇā at the end of yajña and dedicating mahādāna to the officiating priests (ṛtvijas).
