देव्युवाच । नाहं ते दयिता देव नाहं ते वशवर्तिनी । अकृत्वाधश्व वै तासां मानं सुरसुपूजितम्
devyuvāca | nāhaṃ te dayitā deva nāhaṃ te vaśavartinī | akṛtvādhaśva vai tāsāṃ mānaṃ surasupūjitam
ព្រះនាងទេវីមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឱ ព្រះអម្ចាស់ ខ្ញុំមិនមែនជាស្រីស្នេហ៍របស់ព្រះអង្គទេ ហើយខ្ញុំក៏មិនស្ថិតក្រោមអំណាចព្រះអង្គដែរ—លុះត្រាតែព្រះអង្គធ្វើឲ្យកិត្តិយសរបស់ពួកនាងទាបចុះជាមុន ដែលសូម្បីទេវតាក៏គោរពបូជាយ៉ាងខ្លាំង»។
