Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Type: stotra
Role: teaching
Cosmic Event: tattva-upadeśa within sṛṣṭi narrative (identity teaching as cosmic concealment/revelation axis)
It teaches abheda (non-difference) in devotion: the devotee should understand that Rudra and Hara are not two competing deities but one Supreme Lord (Pati), worthy of single-pointed meditation that leads toward liberation.
It supports Saguna upāsanā with clarity: whether one worships Śiva as Rudra, Hara, or through the Śiva-liṅga, the object of worship is the same Supreme Śiva, approached through a unifying form and name for steady bhakti.
Practice Rudra-dhyāna (meditation on Śiva as Rudra/Hara) with a single chosen form or liṅga, accompanied by japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) to stabilize devotion and insight into Śiva’s oneness.
