Tripathagā Narrative
चोदितो रामवाक्येन विश्वामित्रो महामुनि:।वृद्धिं जन्म च गङ्गाया वक्तुमेवोपचक्रमे।।1.35.13।।
codito rāmavākyena viśvāmitro mahāmuniḥ | vṛddhiṃ janma ca gaṅgāyā vaktum evopacakrame ||
ដោយបានជំរុញដោយព្រះវាចារបស់ព្រះរាម មហាមុនី វិશ્વាមិត្រ បានចាប់ផ្តើមពោលអំពីកំណើតនៃគង្គា និងដំណើររីកពង្រីករបស់នាងបន្ទាប់មក។
Then Rama said to Viswamitra "O venerable one I wish to know why Ganga flowing in three directions, occupy (purified) the three worlds before entering the sea, the lord of rivers?"
Dharma is upheld through right transmission of knowledge: a qualified teacher responds to a sincere student, preserving sacred history through truthful narration.
After Rāma’s inquiry, Viśvāmitra formally begins the Gaṅgā-upākhyāna (the episode explaining Gaṅgā’s origin and course).
Viśvāmitra’s readiness to teach and Rāma’s respectful prompting together highlight the ideal learning relationship.
