The Account of Tāṭakā and the Royal Duty to Protect
ददौ नागसहस्रस्य बलं चास्या: पितामह:।नत्वेव पुत्रं यक्षाय ददौ ब्रह्मा महायशा:।।।।
dadau nāgasahasrasya balaṃ cāsyāḥ pitāmahaḥ |
na tv eva putraṃ yakṣāya dadau brahmā mahāyaśāḥ ||
ពិតាមហៈ ព្រះព្រហ្មដ៏មានកិត្តិយស បានប្រទានកម្លាំងដល់នាងស្មើនឹងដំរីមួយពាន់; ប៉ុន្តែព្រះអង្គមិនបានប្រទានកូនប្រុសដល់យក្ខនោះឡើយ។
