प्रवेशः / Entry into Kāma’s Hermitage at the Sarayū–Gaṅgā Confluence
कस्यायमाश्रम: पुण्य: कोन्वस्मिन्वसते पुमान्।भगवन् श्रोतुमिच्छाव: परं कौतूहलं हि नौ।।।।
kasyāyam āśramaḥ puṇyaḥ ko nvasmin vasate pumān |
bhagavan śrotum icchāvaḥ paraṃ kautūhalaṃ hi nau ||
“បពិត្រព្រះបគវន្ត! អាស្រមដ៏បុណ្យនេះជារបស់អ្នកណា? ហើយអ្នកណាដែលស្នាក់នៅទីនេះពិតប្រាកដ? ពួកយើងទាំងពីរចង់ស្តាប់ណាស់ ព្រោះសេចក្តីចង់ដឹងរបស់យើងខ្លាំងក្លា។”
Thereafter, having gone a little further both the heroic brothers looked at the confluence of holy Sarayu with divine Ganga divided into three branches.
Dharma values truthful learning: asking questions respectfully (without arrogance) to receive accurate knowledge from a reliable authority.
The princes, seeing an ancient holy hermitage, ask Viśvāmitra to identify its owner and resident.
Humility and earnest desire to know—curiosity disciplined by respect (bhagavan).
