The Manifestation of the Śloka
एवमुक्तो भरद्वाजो वाल्मीकेन महात्मना । प्रायच्छत मुनेस्तस्य वल्कलं नियतो गुरो: ।।1.2.7।।
evam ukto bharadvājo vālmīkena mahātmanā |
prāyacchata munes tasya valkalaṃ niyato guroḥ ||1.2.7||
ដូច្នេះ ពេលបានឮព្រះមហាត្មា វាល្មីគី មានព្រះវាចា បរទ្វាជ ដែលមានវិន័យ និងគោរពបង្គាប់គ្រូ បានប្រគេនសម្លៀកបំពាក់ធ្វើពីសំបកឈើ ដល់មុនីអង្គនោះ។
Asked thus by the noble-minded master Valmiki, Bharadwaja, ever obedient to his spiritual master, gave the sage the bark garment.
Guru-bhakti and disciplined service: the student responds promptly and respectfully to the teacher’s request, embodying dharma through obedience and readiness to serve.
Vālmīki asks, and Bharadvāja provides a bark garment—signaling Vālmīki’s ascetic readiness to move in the forest and observe life closely.
