द्वादशः सर्गः — Aśvamedha-saṅkalpa

Daśaratha resolves on the Horse Sacrifice

ऋष्यशृङ्गपुरोगाश्च प्रत्यूचुर्नृपतिं तदा।सम्भारास्सम्भ्रियन्तां ते तुरगश्च विमुच्यताम्।।।।

ṛśyaśṛṅgapurogāś ca pratyūcur nṛpatiṃ tadā, sambhārāḥ sambhriyantāṃ te turagaś ca vimucyatām.

បន្ទាប់មក ព្រះឥសីទាំងឡាយដែលមាន ឥស្យស្រឹង្គ ជាមេដឹកនាំ បានទូលឆ្លើយព្រះមហាក្សត្រនៅពេលនោះថា៖ «សូមប្រមូលឧបករណ៍ និងគ្រឿងបូជាសម្រាប់យជ្ញឲ្យគ្រប់គ្រាន់ ហើយសូមលែងសេះពិធីយជ្ញឲ្យចេញទៅតាមវិន័យពិធីការ»។
