Urged by Kaikeyi, Sumantra thought 'Righteous Rama will definitely come here for the purpose of installation'.
Rama is identified as dharmavit, implying that a truly righteous person responds to rightful summons and public duty; dharma is treated as a guiding knowledge shaping conduct.
Sumantra assumes the summons concerns Rama’s coronation and expects Rama to arrive accordingly.
Rama’s reputation for dharma—reliability, discipline, and readiness to fulfill duty.
