द्वादशः सर्गः — Kaikeyi’s Boons and Dasaratha’s Moral Collapse
Ayodhya Kanda 12
शुद्धभावो हि भावं मे न तु ज्ञास्यति राघवः।।।।स वनं प्रब्रजे त्युक्तो बाढ मित्येव वक्षयति।
śuddhabhāvo hi bhāvaṃ me na tu jñāsyati rāghavaḥ | sa vanaṃ prabraje ty ukto bāḍhaṃ ity eva vakṣyati |
រហ្កវៈមានចិត្តបរិសុទ្ធ មិននឹងយល់ដឹងពីបំណងក្នុងចិត្តខ្ញុំទេ; ពេលគេនិយាយថា «ចូរចេញទៅព្រៃ» គាត់នឹងតែឆ្លើយថា «បាឍម—ដូច្នោះហើយ»។
The descendant of the Raghus (Rama) who is pure in thought will not come to know my intention. Therefore if I tell him 'Go to the forest,' he will say, 'Certainly so'.
Purity of intention and trust within family relationships: Rāma’s dharmic disposition makes him accept commands without suspicion or manipulation.
Daśaratha laments that Rāma will not realize the hidden coercion behind the exile order and will comply straightforwardly.
Rāma’s śuddha-bhāva (purity of mind) and trusting obedience.
