I have digested the demon Vatapi your brother, who assumed the form of a sheep. He has reached the abode of Yama, Lord of death. Where does he have the power to come out?
Satya (truth) is used as a corrective to deceit: Agastya states plainly that the harm-doer has met the consequence of his own adharma.
Ilvala calls for Vātāpi to emerge, but Agastya reveals that Vātāpi has been fully digested and is dead.
Satya and fearlessness—Agastya speaks the truth without hesitation, demonstrating spiritual certainty and moral authority.
