Narada (within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It highlights the mutual dearness of Hari (Viṣṇu/Nārāyaṇa) and Śambhu (Śiva), teaching that true devotion recognizes divine harmony rather than rivalry, and that humility is essential in spiritual life.
Bhakti here is marked by reverence and non-sectarian respect: the devotee honors those whom the Lord honors. The speaker’s confession of lacking such “fortune” also models the bhakti virtue of dainyam (humble self-assessment).
No specific Vedāṅga technique (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Śikṣā) is taught directly; the practical takeaway is dhārmic conduct in discourse—avoiding divisive debate (vāda) by affirming Hari–Hara concord.
