Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada, within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue framework)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches ritual completeness: oblations with sacred utterances purify the act, renewed worship refines devotion, deity-installation (saṃyojana) seals the presence in the icon, and agni-visarjana closes the rite without leaving it ritually “open.”
Bhakti here is expressed as disciplined arcana—offering, worship, and respectful completion—showing that devotion is not only emotion but also careful service (seva) performed in a sanctified order.
It highlights applied ritual science (kalpa): using vyāhṛtis in homa, the sequence of upacāras like gandha, the concept of deity-installation into the mūrti, and the formal procedure of concluding the fire rite (agni-visarjana).
