जीवितं गुणिनः श्लाघ्यं जीवान्नेव मृतोऽगुणः ।
गुणवान् निर्वृतिं पित्रोः शत्रूणां हृदयज्वरम् ॥
jīvitaṃ guṇinaḥ ślāghyaṃ jīvanneva mṛto 'guṇaḥ | guṇavān nirvṛtiṃ pitroḥ śatrūṇāṃ hṛdaya-jvaram ||
ជីវិតរបស់អ្នកមានធម៌គួរឲ្យសរសើរ; អ្នកអធម៌ ទោះរស់ក៏ដូចជាស្លាប់។ បុរសមានធម៌នាំសេចក្តីរីករាយដល់ឪពុកម្តាយ ហើយបង្កក្តៅក្រហាយក្នុងចិត្តសត្រូវ។
