Go-dāna-stuti and Ghṛta-Japa
Praise of cow-gift and ghee-centered recitation
आद्ानं च प्रयुड्जीत समंगे बहुलेति च । प्रविश्य च गवां मध्यमिमां श्रुतिमुदाहरेत्
Bhīṣma uvāca |
Ādānaṃ ca prayuñjīta samaṅge bahuleti ca |
Praviśya ca gavāṃ madhyam imāṃ śrutim udāharet ||
ភីស្មៈ បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឲ្យអ្នកធ្វើទានអនុវត្តតាមវិន័យដែលបានកំណត់ ហើយហៅគោដោយពាក្យថា ‘ឱ សមង្គា, ឱ បហុលា’។ បន្ទាប់មក ចូលទៅកណ្ដាលហ្វូងគោ ហើយសូត្រមន្តវេទដ៏សក្ការៈនេះ»។ ដូច្នេះ ទានគោ (go-dāna) ត្រូវធ្វើដោយការគោរព ការអត់ធ្មត់ និងពាក្យសមរម្យតាមពិធី។
