पात्रलक्षण-परिक्षा (Pātra-Lakṣaṇa Parīkṣā) — Criteria for a Worthy Recipient
महारथश्न राजन्य एष्टव्य: शत्रुतापन: । इति मां नारद: प्राह सततं सर्वभूतये
mahārathaś ca rājan ya eṣṭavyaḥ śatrutāpanaḥ | iti māṃ nāradaḥ prāha satataṃ sarvabhūtaye ||
ព្រះវាយុទេវបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឱ ព្រះរាជា! គួរតែអធិស្ឋានសុំឲ្យកើតមានក្សត្រិយមហារថី—អ្នកបើករថសង្គ្រាមដ៏អស្ចារ្យ ដែលធ្វើឲ្យសត្រូវរងទុក្ខក្តៅក្រហាយ។ នារទមុនីបានប្រាប់ខ្ញុំដូច្នេះជាញឹកញាប់ ដើម្បីសុខសាន្ត និងសម្បូរបែបរបស់សត្វលោកទាំងអស់»
