मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
सदा द्वादशमासान् वै जुह्मानो जातवेदसम् | स्थानं वारुणमैन्द्रं च रौद्रं वाप्पधिगच्छति
bhīṣma uvāca | sadā dvādaśa-māsān vai juhvāno jātavedasam | sthānaṃ vāruṇam aindraṃ ca raudraṃ vāpy adhigacchati ||
ភីष្មបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ អ្នកណាដែលអស់ដប់ពីរខែ បូជាហវីទៅក្នុងជាតវេទស (ភ្លើងបូជា) ជារៀងរាល់ថ្ងៃ នោះនឹងទៅដល់ស្ថានដ៏ខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់របស់វរុណៈ និងឥន្ទ្រៈ ហើយក៏ដល់លោករបស់រុទ្រៈផងដែរ។ ព្រះបន្ទូលនេះបង្ហាញថា ការបំពេញយជ្ញៈដោយវិន័យ និងទៀងទាត់ នាំឲ្យបានគោរពកិត្តិយស និងគោលដៅខ្ពស់ក្នុងលោកទេវៈ។
