It teaches that Linga-pūjā is strengthened by śabda-upacāra—music, instruments, and especially Vedic recitation—making the worship highly meritorious and ritually complete.
By emphasizing brahma-ghoṣa and maṅgala, it presents Shiva as Pati who is approached through purified sound and auspicious order (ṛta), where sacred vibration becomes an offering to the Linga.
Ritual practice: maṅgala-ācaraṇa with instruments and Vedic chanting as part of Linga-pūjā/utsava; Yogic takeaway: disciplined sacred sound (mantra/nāda) used to refine the pashu’s mind and loosen pāśa (bondage).
