Paingala Upanishad 28 — Verse 28

tatra tatra paraṃ brahma sarvatra samavasthitam | hanyān muṣṭibhir ākāśaṃ kṣudhārtaḥ khaṇḍayet tuṣam | nāhaṃ brahmeti jānāti tasya muktir na jāyate ||28||

Here and there, the supreme Brahman is everywhere equally present. One might strike the sky with fists; a man tormented by hunger might crush husks. (So too,) for one who does not know “I am Brahman,” liberation does not arise for him.

Moksha through Brahma-jñāna (Aham Brahmāsmi)Mahavakya: Directly aligns with the mahāvākya “अहं ब्रह्मास्मि (ahaṃ brahmāsmi)” by asserting liberation depends on this knowledge.AtharvaChandas: Anuṣṭubh (śloka)
