आद्यो विरंचिनामासीद्यदा ब्रह्मा पितामहः । मृत्युञ्जयस्तदा नाम सोमनाथस्य कीर्तितम्
ādyo viraṃcināmāsīdyadā brahmā pitāmahaḥ | mṛtyuñjayastadā nāma somanāthasya kīrtitam
最初の周期において、ブラフマーがヴィランチ（Virañci）として、祖父神（ピターマハ）と呼ばれていたとき、ソーマナータ（Somanātha）に讃えられた名は「ムリティユンジャヤ（Mṛtyuñjaya）」――死を征服する者――であった。
