गोदावर्य्यां भवेत्पुण्यं वसतो वर्षसंख्यया । तत्फलं समवाप्नोति गोमतीसेवनाद्द्विजाः
godāvaryyāṃ bhavetpuṇyaṃ vasato varṣasaṃkhyayā | tatphalaṃ samavāpnoti gomatīsevanāddvijāḥ
おお、二度生まれし者（ドヴィジャ）よ。ゴーダーヴァリー（Godāvarī）のほとりに多年住して得る功徳—その果は、聖なるゴーマティー（Gomatī）に信心をもって仕え親しむだけで得られる。
