yasyāḥ sarvaṃ mahīvyomajalāgnipavanātmakam | brahmāṃḍamaṃgasaṃbhūtaṃ sadevāsuramānuṣam
Viṣakanyā (the poison-maiden), continuing her hymn to Devī
Type: kshetra
Scene: A visionary tableau: the Devī’s luminous form contains within it the five elements and the egg of the cosmos, with devas, asuras, and humans emerging as miniature figures.
Devī is praised as the cosmic source: all beings and elements arise from her, supporting a Śākta-Śaiva vision of sacred reality.
The verse belongs to a tīrtha-māhātmya chapter (Nāgarakhaṇḍa, Adhyāya 62); the tīrtha’s greatness is expressed through cosmological praise of Devī rather than a named location here.
No ritual prescription is stated; it is doctrinal praise within the hymn.
