Bhartṛyajña
Tirtha: Gautameśvara (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Ṛṣis/assembly (contextual)
Scene: A sage demonstrates a circular earth-model and indicates weights (100, 50, 25 palas), with scales and ritual vessels laid out in a mandapa.
Dāna is dharmic when it is properly formed and proportionate—generosity should be real, yet aligned with one’s means.
The rite is taught within the Gautameśvara tīrtha narrative frame of the Nāgarakhaṇḍa’s Tīrthamāhātmya.
A circular earth-model of specified weight: ideally 100 palas, or 50, or 25 palas depending on ability.
