Brāhmaṇas
Tirtha: Candrāṅka-tīrtha
Type: tirtha
Listener: The king
Scene: Brāhmaṇas reassure the king that he will be free of all diseases and promise to lead him at the proper time, indicating a guided pilgrimage to the exact bathing spot.
Faithful adherence to tīrtha-dharma under proper guidance yields both worldly well-being and sacred merit.
The same tīrtha of this adhyāya is intended, later named Śaṅkha-tīrtha in the narrative.
Follow the prescribed time and be guided to perform the rite correctly; the core act is tīrtha-snānā.
