Transliteration

ityevaṃvidhavipratvamuktaṃ śrṛṇu yugādayaḥ | navamī kārtike śuklā kṛtādiḥ parikīrtitā

Translation

このように、かかるブラーフマナの卓越が説き明かされた。今、ユガーディ(Yugādi)すなわち時代の始まりを聞け。カールッティカ月(Kārttika)の白分(śukla)第九日が、クリタ・ユガ(Kṛta Yuga)の始まりと宣言される。
