श्रीनारद उवाच । ततः स सप्तरात्रांते जहौ बालो निजानसून् । संस्कारितो यथोक्तं च नंदभद्रेण ब्राह्मणैः
śrīnārada uvāca | tataḥ sa saptarātrāṃte jahau bālo nijānasūn | saṃskārito yathoktaṃ ca naṃdabhadreṇa brāhmaṇaiḥ
聖なるナーラダは言った。やがて七夜の終わりに、その少年は自らの命の息を捨てた。その後ナンダバドラは、ブラーフマナたちと共に、定められたとおりに葬送の儀礼を厳密に執り行った。
