वृद्धत्वे हि समश्राति नरो वै नात्र भविष्यति । तस्माद्देशे च काले च सुपात्रे विधिना नरः । शुभार्जितं प्रयुञ्जीत श्रद्धया शाठ्यवर्जितः
vṛddhatve hi samaśrāti naro vai nātra bhaviṣyati | tasmāddeśe ca kāle ca supātre vidhinā naraḥ | śubhārjitaṃ prayuñjīta śraddhayā śāṭhyavarjitaḥ
老いに至れば、人は必ず衰えに沈む—疑いはない。ゆえに、ふさわしい場所と時に、受けるに足る者へ、法（ダルマ）に則って正しく得たものを、信心をもって、欺きなく捧げ施すべきである。
