इन्द्रद्युम्न उवाच । पृच्छामि त्वामहं ब्रह्मन्यदायुरिदमीदृशम् । तव दीर्घं प्रभावोऽसौ दानस्य तपसोऽथवा
indradyumna uvāca | pṛcchāmi tvāmahaṃ brahmanyadāyuridamīdṛśam | tava dīrghaṃ prabhāvo'sau dānasya tapaso'thavā
インドラデュムナは言った。「おお、バラモンよ、汝に問う。いかにして汝の寿命はかくもあるのか。この大いにして久しく存する威力は、布施（ダーナ）の果か、あるいは苦行（タパス）の果か。」
