gaṇāvūcatuḥ | etā vāravilāsinyo yajñabhājāṃ priyaṃkarāḥ | gītajñā nṛtyakuśalā vādyavidyā vicakṣaṇāḥ

二人のガナは言った。「これらは都の遊女にして、祭祀（ヤジュニャ）の功徳を得た者を喜ばせる。歌に通じ、舞に巧み、器楽の術にも明らかである。」
