sāmavedāṃgapārajñāstraividyā dharma vittamāḥ | taponiṣṭhā śubhācārāḥ satyavrataparāyaṇāḥ

彼らはサーマ・ヴェーダとその補助学の彼岸を知り、三ヴェーダの学に通じ、ダルマに秀でた知者であった。タパスに堅く、行いは清らかで、真実の誓いに帰依していた。
