tathāpi kurute śaṃbhoḥ pūjāṃ nityamataṃdritaḥ | caturdaśyāṃ viśeṣeṇa pakṣayoḥ śuklakṛṣṇayoḥ
それでも彼は怠ることなく、毎日シャンブ(シヴァ)を礼拝した。とりわけ白分と黒分、両半月の第十四日には格別であった。
Sūta (continuing narration)
Tirtha: Caturdaśī (Śiva-kāla-mahātmya)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A disciplined daily shrine scene: the king, despite his rough life, stands focused before a Śiva-liṅga; the moon’s fourteenth day is shown by a thin crescent/near-full motif in sky for both pakṣas, emphasizing caturdaśī.
Even an imperfect person is uplifted by steady worship; consistency in Śiva devotion is portrayed as a transformative force.
No site is named; the verse glorifies time-based devotion (tithi observance) centered on Śiva.
Nitya Śiva-pūjā is recommended, with special emphasis on caturdaśī (14th lunar day) in both śukla and kṛṣṇa pakṣa.
