Transliteration

mahādhanasya śāṃtasya sadā rājasakhasya ca | yāñcābhaṃgabhayāttasya tāṃ kanyāṃ pradadau pitā

Translation

彼は大いに富み、心静かで、つねに王の友であった。ゆえに娘の父は、願いを退ける不名誉を恐れて、その娘を彼に与えた。
