Transliteration

javenāgatya taṃ deśaṃ māgadhairabhipūritam | dahyamānaṃ kraṃdamānaṃ hṛtastrīsutagodhanam

Translation

彼は疾く駆けてその地に至った。そこはすでにマガダの軍勢に満ち、炎に焼かれ、嘆きの声がこだまし、女と子と牛と財宝が奪い去られていた。
