तपाम्यहं ततो वर्षं निगृह्णाम्युत्सृजामि च । न मृ तं चैव मृत्युं च यः पश्यति स पश्यति
tapāmyahaṃ tato varṣaṃ nigṛhṇāmyutsṛjāmi ca | na mṛ taṃ caiva mṛtyuṃ ca yaḥ paśyati sa paśyati
「われは熱として燃え、やがて雨となる。われはそれを抑え、また放つ。われを真に見る者こそ見る者である――死も死せる者も、われと別なるものとしては見ない。」
