bāṇa uvāca | śiva śaṅkara sarvaharāya namo bhavabhītabhayārtiharāya namaḥ | kusumāyudhadehavināśaṃkara pramadāpriyakāmaka deva namaḥ
Bāṇa
Tirtha: Revā (Narmadā) tīrtha-pradeśa
Type: river
Scene: Bāṇa stands with folded hands, offering a fervent hymn to Śiva; Śiva appears as the fear-dispeller, with the memory of Kāma’s burning and Pārvatī beside him, radiating protective grace.
Śiva is praised as the destroyer of bondage and the remover of existential fear, conquering even desire (Kāma).
No tirtha is named; the verse is a doctrinal stotra praising Śiva’s cosmic acts within the Revā Khaṇḍa narrative frame.
Stotra-recitation and namaskāra (salutation) are implied; no specific vrata or pilgrimage act is stated.
