गरुड उवाच । इच्छामि वाहनं विष्णोर्द्विजेन्द्रत्वं सुरेश्वर । प्रसन्ने त्वयि मे सर्वं भवत्विति मतिर्मम
garuḍa uvāca | icchāmi vāhanaṃ viṣṇordvijendratvaṃ sureśvara | prasanne tvayi me sarvaṃ bhavatviti matirmama
ガルダは言った。「神々の主よ、我はヴィシュヌの乗り物となり、また二度生まれし者の中の首位を得たい。あなたが満悦されるなら、我に不可能はない—それが我が確信です。」
