It shows that even the highest cosmic deities (Brahmā and Viṣṇu) respond to Śiva with humility—wonder, reverent awe, and devotion—indicating Śiva as Pati, the supreme Lord worthy of stuti (praise) and śaraṇāgati (surrender).
Their act of praising the Deva reflects Saguna-upāsanā—approaching Śiva in a manifest, approachable form through hymns and devotion, which in the Shiva Purana commonly culminates in reverence to Śiva’s presence as the Linga or as the personally revealing Lord.
Stuti and nāma-smaraṇa: recite Śiva-stotras or repeat the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with a blend of love and reverent awe, cultivating humility before the Lord.
