The verse presents smaraṇa (remembrance) of Śiva’s lotus-feet and Śiva’s anugraha (gracious glance) as the real source of inner strength—showing that victory in both outer conflict and inner bondage arises from devotion supported by divine grace.
By emphasizing Śiva’s lotus-feet and His direct, auspicious glance, the verse points to Saguna devotion—worshipping Śiva as the compassionate Lord who actively protects and empowers devotees, which aligns with Linga-worship as a tangible focus for remembrance and surrender.
Practice Śiva-smaraṇa: mentally dwell on Śiva’s lotus-feet while repeating the Pañcākṣarī mantra ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya"), and seek His anugraha through daily pūjā—optionally with bhasma (Tripuṇḍra) and rudrākṣa as Shaiva aids to steadiness and devotion.
